How to brew the perfect cup of tea: Start with filtered, unsoftened cold water, heated by using a teapot or an electric tea kettle. Add your tea leaves to an infuser basket or teapot. We suggest 1 teaspoon loose tea per cup of water. Pour boiling water over black, oolong and herbal teas but allow the water to cool slightly before brewing green or white teas. Cover and steep for 2-5 minutes. Over steeping can cause bitterness. If you prefer stronger tea, use more leaves – add up to 3 teaspoons per cup, instead of a longer steep.
